In the case of an illness or injury, we will make every attempt to contact you or your emergency contact. In the event that no contact can be made, Tail Topia will assume the role and seek veterinary attention. We reserve the right to choose the veterinary clinic of our choice, we will always try your veterinarian first. In this case, all veterinary costs incurred will be the responsibility of the owner and a nominal veterinary transport fee will also be applied.
What are the vaccine requirements for my cat?

Is there someone on staff 24/7?
No, we currently do not have staff during the hours of 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, however the facility in monitored with camera systems to allow staff to see you pet during those hours. We also have a staff member on call for emergencies. The owner and manager both live close by and can be at the facility within minutes. We hope to add overnight staff in the future.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes, we generally fill up holiday weekends, school vacations and during the summer months. Therefore, we recommend making reservations for your pet as early as possible. It is a good idea to book a space in the kennel at the same time you book a space for you to stay with your family. Once we are full, we begin a waiting list for any possible future cancellations. We try our best to accommodate all the pets we can safely board. Reservations can be made online through our website.
What if my cat is on medication?
We can give vitamins, pills, topical and injectable medications as specified. Please make sure all medication is clearly labeled and dosage instructions are included. There is no additional fee for medicine.
What belongings should I bring for my cat?
We typically recommend bringing your cat's food from home, as cat's do better staying on their regular diet from home and have less trouble with upset stomachs from switching foods. If you do decide to bring your own food, we recommend bringing it in a resealable container. We also have a refrigerator and microwave to prepare special diets. We provide soft bedding for all of our overnight guests. However, you can bring in a bed or blanket from home. Toys are permitted, but we ask that you limit them to three of their favorite toys. Your cat's toys will stay with them in their condos and we will do our best to return all toys. We are not responsible if a toy is lost or destroyed. You can also feel free to bring treats.
Can I call to check on my pet?
Absolutely! Please call during our business hours of 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, Saturdays from 9am to 5 pm, and 1pm - 5pm on Sundays to get an update on your pet. You may also write us an email to check-in, but realize that email is not the fastest way to get information, as we generally only check in once a day. We will also send you pictures of your pet while you are away if you choose. We are also working on getting a video system to allow you to sign in and view your pet while you are away.
What are your pick-up/drop-off hours?
